You have done it again! I thought the Australia trip you organized in ’04 was great, but New Zealand was breathtakingly beautiful! It would be hard to say which part was best; the heli hike at Franz Joseph Glacier was a blast. It is hard to capture the reality of a glacier in a picture. When you are up on the glacier it’s like being in a different world. And with a guide named Donkey how could you go wrong? The trip to Milford Sound on the bus was great because the bus driver told us so much about the native plants and animals and with the helicopter ride back we saw it from the ground and air along with a short stop on a glacier. The boat cruse in Milford Sound was like something out of a movie. The boat cruise on Lake Tarawera with the hot springs was a blast! We could have stayed in the 98 degree water all night. Even the driving between destinations was fun. Not often you get to drive like a maniac on the “wrong” side of the road. Can’t wait to see what you put together for our next vacation, no doubt it will be great.
