I miss Wanaka
This morning’s power walk along the Lake Michigan shore in my hometown of Chicago was nice, but it made me homesick for a place I’ve only visited: Wanaka, NZ. During our stay, we’d hike Mount Iron to start the day with a good climb rewarded by pristine views. On the way back, I’d pop into Café Gusto for a long black (what you’d get if you ordered an Americano in a US coffee shop) and on the porch to watch the world go by.
I miss it terribly and Corinne, it’s all your fault!
